Parent-led Building for the Future unites charities who represent all the disabled children and their families in the Wokingham Borough. Our vision is to raise money and provide a unique, purpose-built community centre offering state of the art facilities.
Building for the Future was originally made up of five existing charities, which provide support, respite and activities for hundreds of families bringing up disabled children throughout the borough. We are very keen to hear from groups and organisations that want to become involved.
Mayor's Chosen Charity 2007-2008
Cllr Annette Drake has already raised significant funds for the cause since she became mayor in May.
